The Lower Austrian Science Awards 2023 were presented by Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner in Grafenegg. The highest honors are the awards, each worth 11,000 euros, for a complete scientific work of national importance. These went to the cognitive biologist Thomas Bugnyar and the Germanist Christine Glaßner. You can see a video about Thomas Bugnyars’ work at the Research Station Haidlhof, a cooperation between the UniVie and the VetmedUni Vienna.
