Decision making in common marmosets

PhD candidate Julia Grabner and postdoc Ruth Sonnweber are working on the topic within the Dynamates project funded by the FWF and co-headed by Michelle Spierings. This is a collaborative project with computational modelling, cognitive neuroscience and cognitive biology. The researchers are aiming to understand which processes are involved in dynamic decision making with temporal and spatial changes in the acoustic environment. The working group is embedded in the BugnyarLab at UBB and Julia’s specific topic is investigating how common marmosets dynamically predict the location and timing of a moving sound source.
